The NCEA and e-learning Project - a collaborative report

The other day I got to thinking it would be great to create a document that highlighted the opportunities to use e-learning and ICTs in the formative and summative assessment of the newly aligned NCEA. With the help of Google Docs it struck me that it could be relatively;y easy to make this a collaborative writing project. The aim of the document is to identify each Level One Achievement Standard in every Learning Area, and then, to identify where there is potential to use ICTs to formatively or summatively assess each standard.
I would like to invite any interested educators who are familiar with the new standards to contribute. Simply read the instructions below and click on the link to access the Google doc. Please make sure you identify yourself as a contributor - I want to ensure credit is given to all involved!
The final document will then be available here as a Creative Commons document for anyone to use. Any other ideas for how we could use this document, or work on it more effectively are welcome! I believe this report could be a really useful resource for all our secondary teachers, and may help to inform future needs in terms of ICT PD and resourcing.
I realise the final versions of the standards are not published until November - the report will be revisited at that time. If the report proves useful, we could look to work on Level 2 and 3 in 2011 and 2012 respectively.

Project Instructions
Read the Google document and see what Learning Areas have been added already. if you see a subject that is yet to be added, that you would like to work on.
Look at the English subject example at the top of the document - the aim is for each subject table to look similar to this.
Copy the blank table from the top of the document (under the English example) and paste it below your subject in the list. Alter the table to accommodate the number of standards offered in your subject area.
Locate the new subject matrix here:
follow the link, and click on the matrix and copy the Level one standards column into first column of the table for your subject on the document.
Under the 'ICTs and Formative Assessment'column heading identify possible ICTs and software that could be used to prepare students for each standard. Read the standard and Conditions of Assessment to assure the use of ICTs is appropriate.
